Whole Carcass Turkey: 100% Whole Carcass Turkey including neck, liver and heart (no heads, beaks, feathers, feet, guts, gizzards or solution of any kind). We estimate 70% meat, 27% bone and 3% organ in this blend.

What is Freeze Dried?: Our Beef is frozen at peak freshness. Then moisture is removed from the food through sublimation, which converts water into vapor. This process protects the food's nutritional value as well as giving the food a shelf life of up to 10 years!
How to Store/Use:
- rehydrate the food before consumption by using 2-3 times the amount of warm water compared to the amount of the freeze dried food
- Will last years if stored correctly
- Do not refrigerate
- Store in a dry, cool place out of direct sunlight
A simple starting point when feeding freeze dry to raw is to feed 1/4 of the amount of freeze dry compared to raw before the water is added. A 50lb dog at 3% feed to body weight would get 1.5lb of raw or 6 oz of freeze dry without water added, daily.

Midwest Legacy Beef can serve as the optimal base for more complex recipes. You can add blueberries, sweet potatoes, rice, or any other natural dog-safe ingredient you'd like.

Raw orders will be sent out frozen and tightly packed in an 1.5 inch thick cooler. Once you receive your order, simply freeze anything you don't plan on using immediately.
If any of your products arrive thawed or starting to defrost, this is perfectly fine and safe! You do not need to worry or panic. It is perfectly safe to thaw and re-freeze pet food.
When you are ready to feed your pup, simply pull the package out of the freezer 24 hours before, thaw, then serve!
Freeze Dry orders will ship separate from raw orders. Freeze dry is shelf stable and can simply be stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
When ready to feed freeze dry, mix the freeze dry with 2-3 times the amount of warm water to reconstitute, then fold or reseal the bag.

Shipping rates for all raw blends are$10.00 - $20.00 per case depending on location. Freeze dry shipping rates vary and decrease per oz as bag quantity increases.

We ship our fresh, frozen dog food on Mondays via the UPS or Fedex. Freeze dry orders will ship separate and within 2 business days of purchase.
Raw orders must be placed before 10am (CST) on Monday to be shipped that Monday. Freeze dry orders will ship Monday-Friday
Any raw orders received after 10am (CST) on a Monday will ship the following Monday.
We take the guess work out of shipping for you by offering auto-delivery subscriptions. Just sign up once, and we'll deliver your order on the schedule you choose.

If a holiday lands any time during the week, we will still plan shipping that week. Shipments may either leave on Tuesday as a result of the holiday being Monday, or take an extra day to arrive if shipped on a Monday and the holiday is midweek (July 4th).

How do I serve freeze-dried dog food?

When converting raw to freeze-dried portions, use this ratio:
👉 Raw amount ÷ 4 = Freeze-Dry amount
